Aaron Howe

          With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Aaron Edward Howe, affectionately known as “Pork Chop,” on September 28, 2026, at Woodstock Hospital, at the age of 43.

          Born on May 17, 1983, Aaron was the cherished son of the late Edward Howe, who loved him dearly, and Betty Lines.  He was also lovingly supported by his stepmother, Liz Howe.  Aaron was a beloved brother to Deb Aicken and Jim Howe, a cherished lifelong friend of Amber Cook and Joe Hainer, and the loving boyfriend of Janna Crawford.  He shared a special bond with Janna’s children, Anthony, Jade, Rory, Liam, Opal, and Ruby, who were his little buddies and brought much joy to his life.

          Aaron was funny, caring, and had a wonderful love for animals.  He had a way of making people laugh and bringing his own special personality into every room.  Aaron was also a talented storyteller with a vivid imagination and a gift for drawing.  He created amazing sketches and artwork that reflected his creativity and unique way of seeing the world.  Those who knew him will always remember his sense of humor, his heart, his creativity, and the memories they shared with him.

          Aaron’s passing was sudden and far too soon.  He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.  His memory will live on in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, and the many memories he left behind.

          In lieu of flowers, donations in Aaron’s memory may be made to the World Wildlife Fund Canada, a cause that reflects his love of animals.  Cremation has taken place.  Details regarding a celebration of Aaron’s life will be announced at a later date.
