Alicia Cooper

          Alicia Cooper passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Sunday August 23, 2026 at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.

          Proud and loving Mom of Joby Springer, Mekea (Alexis) Fonacier, Tamara Cooper, and Kendra (Ryan) Black, and now she is happily reunited with her son Moses Anderson.  Gramma of Tyson, Ekata, Jackson, Lily, Noa, Ethan, and Jack.  Dear sister of Connie (Bill) Dodsley, and Jackie Odorjan.  She will be missed by her longtime friend Sandra Robertson.  Predeceased by her parents Jack and Alice Rankin, her brothers Bill Rankin and Chuck ‘CB’ Rankin, and by Andrew Anderson who held a special place in her heart.

          A special thank you to the people who brought Alicia joy….Melissa Skillings, David Pond, Heather and Morgan Simard, her nurses, doctors, PSW’s, externs, physiotherapists, and all of the volunteer staff at the TDMH Gift Shop.  A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Abdalla for all of his care over the years, and to her special nurse Kenzie who helped Alicia pass with dignity and grace.

          Cremation has taken place.  Knowing how Alicia loved her cats, consideration of a memorial donation to Purrfect Companions of Norfolk would seem fitting and is appreciated.
