Ann Bartlett

          Peacefully at Sakura House, with her loving son by her side, Ann Louise Bartlett (née Kirby) passed away on Saturday October 17, 2026, in her 80th year, reunited with her beloved husband Lyle.

          Born on June 1, 1947, Ann lived a life centered on warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family.  On October 2, 1965, she married the love of her life, Lyle Douglas Bartlett.  Together, they shared nearly 61 beautiful years of marriage - a partnership built on unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and enduring care.  Ann worked for many years at Big V / Shoppers Drug Mart, where her welcoming presence and friendly smile brightened the days of coworkers and customers alike.  Her years there brought her many wonderful, lasting friendships, particularly with Maryann and Elenore.

          Ann was the beloved daughter of James Kirby (Kaye Jones).  She was the loving and devoted mother of Deb Broadfield (Chuck) and Brian Bartlett (Marshall).  Cherished sister of John Kirby (Shirl) and Michael Kirby (Lori), and dear sister-in-law of Jennifer Creighton.  Ann is fondly remembered by her grandson James, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends, along with her in-laws in the Bartlett family.  Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lyle (September 15, 2026), her infant granddaughter Tiffany (1998), her brother Jimmy Kirby, her mother Jean Morlog (née Dopp), her step-father, Corrie Morlog, and her step-mother Margaret Kirby.

          The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff and volunteers at Sakura House for their exceptional care and gentleness in her final days.

          Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann’s memory may be made to VON Sakura House , or a charity of your choice.
