Barbara Ellen Waugh – Young
March 21, 1959 – October 15, 2021

Barbara Ellen Waugh-Young of Tillsonburg, Ontario passed away peacefully with family by her side at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital from complications of COPD.
Cherished husband and best friend for 35 years of Eric Young. Dedicated Mother of Rebecca Waugh and her husband Brian O’Doherty.
Dear sister of Bill Waugh (Sherry McKay), Mary Ann Reaney, Penny Waugh, and Dwayne (Jennifer) Waugh.
Loved Aunt of Amanda Reaney; Melisa Reaney; Tara and John Vandenheuvel and her children Zachery, Layla, and Brooke Waugh; Brandon Reaney and Hanna LeRoy and his son Kayden Reaney; Chelsey Antle and her daughter Hazel Antle; Kendra Waugh; Logan Waugh.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents Norman and Shirley (nee Shepherd) Waugh, brother Jimmy, sisters Patty Waugh and Linda Waugh, brothers-in-law Richard Reaney and Stacey Reaney, and by her nephew Dwayne Waugh.
Barb loved visiting the East Coast and the many friends she met along the way! Ireland was a favourite as well. For Barb, Lighthouses signified finding her way, they represented life and love for her family….and that is reflected in her thoughts, and in her collections.
She was a member of OPSEU for 15 years, dedicated to Community Living Tillsonburg and loved by all there. She enjoyed gardening when her health had permitted, travelling, and family.
A private Family Service is being planned and will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Community Living Tillsonburg are appreciated by the family and may be made directly, or (by cheque) through Wareing Cremation Services, 346 Simcoe Street, Tillsonburg, Ontario N4G 2J8.
