Barb Stumpf (nee Dugan) passed into the presence of her Lord on Thursday January 16th, 2025, just shy of reaching her 91st birthday. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Robert Stumpf, and by her parents John and Alice Dugan.
Barb will be lovingly remembered by her son Craig Stumpf and his wife Stacey of Tennessee, her grandchildren Bryce and Natalie Stumpf and great grandchildren Jack, John and Jude of Ohio, Adalynn (Stumpf) and Cory Woodard and great grandson Amos of Tennessee, Hope (Stumpf) and Jon Pedersen of Tennessee, and Leevi Stumpf of Georgia. She will be missed by her daughter Carolyn of Embro who dedicated the past many years to caring for her and Bob in her home, and in her care facility. Barbara will also be remembered fondly by many extended family members and friends.
Barb worked at Wilfred Laurier University and Bell Canada during her career. She was also faithfully involved with her church Benton Street Baptist for decades, as the junior children’s leader and teacher, music coordinator, and other special event areas.
A special thank you to the staff at Caressant Care Woodstock for the excellent care and compassion provided during her time there. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
