Beatrice Hickling

      Beatrice Hickling (nee Morgan), formerly of Delhi, Ontario, passed away at Caressant Care Courtland on Sunday September 8, 2024, in her 100th year.  

      Beloved wife of the late Ross Hickling. Mother of Lee (Marlene), and Chris (Ron).  Grandmother of Amy (Mark), Duane (Heather), and Alex Hickling; Megan, and Cara Ansley (Adam).  Great Grandmother of Lucy, Maya, and Dorie Tesseyman; Gwen, Hugh, and Vivien Hickling; Huntley, and Holten Harkness.  Bea had a special relationship with her nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sisters Eleanor, Dorothy, Marjorie, and Muriel, and by her brother Harry.

       Beatrice was a lifelong member of the Delhi United Church and found joy and friendship through her dedication.  Long Point, and the family cottage, was a cherished and special place for her.  She loved watching the local wildlife, especially the birds, and beautifully photographed what she observed. 

       The family would like to thank the entire outstanding Staff at Caressant Care in Courtland for graciously and compassionately caring for our mother.  Cremation has taken place.  There will be a private family celebration of Bea’s long life at a later date.
