It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bryan Good, aged 68, on August 12, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Bryan was a cherished teacher at Monsignor J. H. O'Neil Catholic School in Tillsonburg, where he dedicated his career to nurturing young minds and inspiring countless students.
Diagnosed with brain cancer in April of this year, Bryan faced his illness with courage, strength, and acceptance, sustained by the love of his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Lilly and son Brandon as well as close knit family of many that Bryan held dear. Bryan will be remembered not only for his commitment to education but also for the warmth and humor he brought into the lives of those around him. His students knew him as a teacher who was deeply invested in their success, always ready with a kind word or a terrible “dad joke” that never failed to bring a smile.
Bryan found happiness in the small things—whether it was losing himself in a good book, tackling a crossword puzzle, or indulging in his lifelong love of marbles, yo-yos, and puzzle toys. He was, at heart, a big kid, whose spirit will live on in the laughter and memories of all who knew him. Bryan's legacy is one of kindness, simplicity and finding joy in the small gifts of life. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and students.
All are welcome to a “sparkle and sweetness” celebration of Bryan's life, held at the Tillsonburg Curling Club on Saturday September 14, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a toast of remembrance at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charities Bryan was passionate about by visiting https://www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/in-loving-memory-of-bryan-good/
