Carl Serviss

          Carl Victor Serviss passed away peacefully in his 80th year on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at Secord Trails Care Community in Ingersoll, Ontario.

          Lovingly remembered by his wife Judy.  Carl leaves behind his children Ken Serviss (Amanda) of Woodstock, and Sherri Serviss (Darin) of Prescott, and his stepchildren Tammie (Doug) Steinmetz of Ingersoll, Julie (Jason) Gale of Cobourg, and Mike Moskal of Beachville.  He will be missed by his grandchildren Spencer Serviss (Laura), Emily Serviss, Natalie Serviss, Saphire Johnson, Megan Moskal (Jesse), Katelyn Moskal, Mackenzie Gale, Justin (Lynette) Carroll, and Bailey Davis (Taylor), and by great grandchild Lilliana Scott.  Carl will be dearly remembered by his siblings Marie Montgomery, Arnold (Doris) Serviss, Floyd (Florence) Serviss, Jean (Roger) Tupper, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Predeceased by his mother Luella Serviss and father Morris Serviss, and his siblings Delbert Serviss, Frances (Betty) Serviss, Pauline Serviss and Basil Serviss.

          Carl was employed by General Motors for 32 years.  He loved playing cards and visiting with his family.  Community was important and Carl loved to be able to help out in the neighbourhood by mowing lawns and then moving snow during the winter.

          A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Canada or to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
