Carol Lampman

          Peacefully at VON Sakura House, Carol Ann Lampman (nee MacKinnon) passed on Wednesday September 23, 2026, following a brief illness at age 77.

          She is survived by her children, Andrew (Jeff) Searson, and Kristi Lampman.  Predeceased by her husband Paul, parents Mac and Betty Mackinnon, brother Dave, and infant son Christopher.

          Carol was a proud member of the Woodstock Police Service for over 48 years before her retirement in 2016.  She was a board member and coach with the Woodstock Minor Ball for many years, as well as the local Youth Bowling leagues.  Carol was the sole Executive of the Woodstock Community Services Lobball League for over 40 years which was a commitment that she took great pride in.

          Carol was a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan (win or lose), and supported her children in all their bowling and baseball endeavors (win or lose).  There likely isn’t a ball diamond or bowling centre that she hasn’t had the opportunity to visit across Canada.

          In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has already taken place.  A private family memorial will be held at a later date.  For those wishing to make a donation, please feel free to donate to VON Sakura House, or a charity of your choice.
