It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our wonderful wife, mother, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother and friend, Carol. She passed away peacefully at home with her husband of 40 years, Paul, by her side and surrounded by family and love. She is the last of the four Eastabrook siblings of James Henry Earl Eastabrook and Rosella Evaline May (Dodge), both deceased. Carol will be reunited with her brothers Ron and Glenn, sister Barb (Prohaszka), her stepson Guy, and son-in-law Chris (Charron).
Carol will be missed by her children Cindy (Jody), Steve (Vicki), Michele (Chris), and Donna (Al), by her grandchildren Joshua, Kayla, Melissa, Katie, Jessica, Matthew and Quintin, her great-grandchildren Aria, Michael, Alanna, Amelia, Nora and Olivia, and by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Carol was very active in the community having volunteered for the London Hospital and Distress Centre for 25 years, and for the United Church during their meat pie season. She was an active member and volunteer of the Oceanographic Society during their time in Stuart Beach, Florida, and very much enjoyed painting and ceramics.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her final resting place and a Celebration of Life will be decided upon at a later date. A special “thank you” to the amazing Staff at the Salvation Army Adult Day Program that Carol and Paul attended throughout the years and the Manor Retirement Home where she and Paul lived.
