“ Quiet lips equal busy minds”

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Catharine Anne Marchildon (nee Willis) on March 28, 2021 in her 73rd year, at the Woodstock General Hospital. Anne courageously battled COPD and passed peacefully with her children at her bedside.
Anne will be greatly missed by her children, Christopher Marchildon and Corry Marchildon (Josh), as well as their father Ronald Marchildon. Anne lived most of her life in the Midland/Penetang area but moved to Woodstock in recent years to be closer to her grandchildren, Ryker and Eli Slusarczyk who loved their Grandma deeply. She was a Big Sister to Barbara Willis and Gay Robbins (Mark). Anne was also an Aunt and Great Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.
Anne was a quiet and solitary person but had a quick wit and was not afraid to argue politics or give her opinion on many hot topics. Anne had a love of mystery novels and computer games which she did daily. Although Anne’s body failed her, in the end, her mind won out and she left this world on her own accord.
Donations in Catherine’s name may be made directly to the Lung Association at www.lung.ca or by cheque through Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave. Woodstock, Ontario N4S 3V8
