Cheri Acton

          It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheri Acton, at the age 45 on August 18, 2025.  She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Trevor Acton; their children, Austin Flinsenberg (Meagan), Brooke Acton (Dan), Megan LeBlanc (Victor), Brandy Acton (Brendyn), Amelya; and her grandchildren Ryleigh, Dax, River, and Otto.

          Cheri was born on November 13, 1979, in Woodstock, Ontario to Serge Roux and was predeceased by her mother Gudrun Roux (Aszmies).  She had two sisters, Suzette Hatfield (Lloyd) and Tina Baker (Dan).  Cheri will be remembered for her compassion, quick wit, and unwavering love for her family.

          Cheri’s warmth, humor, and strength touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

          A private celebration of Cheri’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Canada  .
