Cheryl Sealy

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Sealy on Tuesday October 17, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 54.  Cheryl passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side.

Cheryl was a strong, selfless woman who loved to smile and laugh, and filled each room she walked into with love.  A beloved wife, a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, and a friend to so many.  Her charisma and magnetic energy always brought people together and created everlasting memories in each stage of her life.

Cheryl worked as a dental receptionist for over 20 years, most recently at Baldwin Street Dental.  There, she connected with each person who walked through the door and became well-known by many.  Cheryl loved her family, her Izzy cat, getting her lashes and nails done, reading, sunflowers, and her favourite place on earth, Barbados.  She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Cheryl was survived by her husband Anthony Sealy, her daughters: Keia Sealy (Rochelle Lundy) and Mia Sealy, her two brothers: Mike VanderGuilk (Wife Sheila), their children: Steven (Wife Lisa and children) and Stacey VanderGuilk, Mark VanderGuilk (Wife Dana) as well as many loving family members both here and in Barbados.  Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Tony and Odette VanderGuilk.

Upholding Cheryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Tillsonburg, officiated by Pastor Paul Schellhorn.
