Clayton D. Pye

Clayton Dougald Pye, 89, of Tillsonburg, Ontario died on Saturday October 22, 2022 at Woodstock Hospital.  Born in Labrador NL, son of the late George and Ida Pye.  He came to Toronto in 1952 at the age of 19, before moving to Woodstock where he worked at GM for 22 years.

Clayton is survived by his wife Gladys, his sons Gerry and David, his daughter Diane, seven grandchildren, his sister Rose, his brothers Irving and Eric, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Brian (1986), and his three sisters Claudine Barnes, Helen Domain, and Thelma McCarthy.  

In keeping with Clay’s wishes, cremation will take place.  

Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday November 9, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm, at the Royal Canadian Legion, 642 Dundas Street, Woodstock, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford.  Donations can be made directly, or (by cheque to the Alzheimer Society) through Wareing Cremation Services, 346 Simcoe St., Tillsonburg, Ontario who have been entrusted with Final Arrangements.
