Colin Arthur Clarkson

Colin Arthur Clarkson, 82, of Tillsonburg, passed away on Thursday February 8, 2024 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. 

Colin was born on August 11, 1941 in Accrington, County of Lancashire, England. 

After finishing trade school in England, Colin made the brave decision to independently immigrate to Canada to begin his career and start his new life.  Colin met his future wife of 56 years, Joan, and went on to have 2 children, Stephanie Mae and Michael Arthur.  Upon retirement, Colin enjoyed the simple life of family celebrations, golf, projects around the home he was so proud of, and becoming a master of “just puttering”. 

Colin was predeceased by his daughter Stephanie (2016).  He leaves behind his wife Joan, son Michael (Jennifer), grandson Liam, and extended family Miranda (Arshdeep) and Jordan. 

Cremation has taken place, with Services to be determined.  If desired, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada at alzheimers.ca to help fight this terrible disease.
