From sunrise to sunset, Dan lived and died on his own terms, peacefully, on Sunday February 25, 2024. Dan passed away in his 73rd year.
Above all, he valued his freedom and independence. Memorable times for Dan included his brief rodeo career (riding horses bareback at the age of 10), his epic young Hippie Road Trip down the west coast of Canada all the way to Tijuana, and his many motorcycle tours on his trusty Honda with his many friends.
Dan was an Industrial Millwright Mechanic who worked at Kelsey Heyes and most recently Transform Automotive. Dan enjoyed a Grand Bend sunset, having moved there to enjoy retirement.
Dan was predeceased by his parents Budd and Geraldine. He is survived by his children Melissa (Jason), and Matthew (Rath), along with four lovely grandkids. He is also survived by his four brothers and their families, Wayne (Carla), David (Carol), Dale (Ina), and Gerald. Dan is survived by many friends, notably Kevin and Ruth Sherman, who offered him great support in his final months.
A private Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
