Beloved Husband of Marie (Kerr), dear and truly loved Father of Krystina (David) Simpson, Sean (Michelle) Labadie and Tyler (Billie) Labadie. Chico was born and raised in Chatham where he grew up very involved in sports. He was an amazing baseball player, well known for his many championships, awards and abilities on the field and at bat. He excelled in many racquet sports always teaming with or competing against his brother and he was also a master bowler (who could forget those lovely white master bowling shoes!!!). He worked for Bell Canada for many years, a job which he loved and took great pride in.

Chico was the #1 fan of his sons’ sports never missing a game or tournament and was a familiar face at the arena and the soccer pitch.
Chico was known for driving around Woodstock on his scooter acknowledging and talking to everyone, his daily ride for tea and a muffin or holding court in the garage with his pals Larry, Murray and Paul - thank you guys for always being there. Chico was loved and will be missed by so many for his sense of humour, love of life, many stories and adventures and just for being an all around great guy.

Woodstock Hospital CCU and Palliative Care units, Oxford EMS, Woodstock Police and Fire Departments  - thank you all for taking such great care of Chico.

A celebration for Chico will be held Saturday  April 2, 2022 at the Upper Thames Brewery, 9-225 Bysham Park Drive, Woodstock  beginning at 7:30 pm.
