David Maycock

          It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Maycock at the age of 60 on August 4th, 2026 surrounded by family at Sakura House in Woodstock.

          David's legacy lives on in the hearts of his loving wife Elizabeth and his two children Josh and Emma.  David was a proud hardworking man whose actions and personality touched the hearts of the many people who surrounded him and will forever live on in the things he helped build and the many projects he worked on with his family and friends.

          David enjoyed the simple things in life such as DIY projects, thrifting and spending time outdoors in many forms like biking, fishing, golfing and even simply taking the dog for a walk on a nice trail.  David's sense of humor will be greatly missed and his laugh was always infectious and warm even if it was at your expense.

          In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorial donation please be made to VON Sakura House for the exceptional care they provided to David even in his final moments.  The family wishes to send a special thanks to all the people that helped during this difficult time.  A celebration of life is planned and will be announced at a later date.
