David Michael Knott

Peacefully and surrounded by family, David passed away on May 17, 2023 at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital at the age of 80.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 47 years, Hedda Knott, and is survived by their daughter Joy and her husband Elliott Bickle of Cardiff, California; his brother Robert (Bob) and his wife Lillian Knott; his brother Bill and his wife Bonnie Knott; and many nieces and nephews.  He will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Heidi and her husband John Hall, his nephew Michael Hall and his wife Shannon Brand, as well as numerous relations and friends.

David spent his career managing LCBO stores in Wilberforce, Hagersville and Guelph. He was a kind and gentle man who enjoyed the thrill of finding a good deal, loved to win at cards and horseshoes, and was a passionate baseball, hockey and golf fan.

In keeping with David's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held at a time and place yet to be determined.
