David Thomson

        David Thomson of Tillsonburg, formerly of Williamsford, Ontario, passed peacefully with family by his side on Thursday August 15, 2024. 

       Cherished husband and best friend of Christina for 37 years.  Proud Dad of Chris DeClark and his wife Jennifer.  Father of Peggy Ann Thomson. Loving Grandpa of Elle and Lilah.  Dear son-in-law of Norma Hussey.  Loved brother of Tom Thomson (Gayle), Paul Thomson (Barb), Margaret (Hugh) Kampers, and brother-in-law of Terry (Lucie) Hussey.  He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Dave was predeceased by his parents Gray and Audrey Thomson, niece Jessica Thomson, nephew Ryan Thomson, father-in-law Floyd Hussey, and brother-in-law Jeff Hussey.

       Dave was blessed to travel the world throughout his life.  His favorite thing was visiting friends and family.  Sports played a big role in his life; he played hockey for many years, enjoyed baseball, hunting and loved watching all sports.  He was fortunate enough to make a living doing what he loved; being outdoors and enjoying nature.

       Due to an unfortunate and serious accident, the Celebration of Dave’s life planned for Saturday September 7, 2024 has been postponed.   Updates will be included here once circumstances allow for decisions.  Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society are most appreciated.
