Dean Martin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dean Allen Martin on August 8, 2024.  Born January 8, 1961, he is the loved husband of Gail (nee Woodcroft). 

Dean leaves behind his brother Jim Martin, sister Patricia “Pat” Gunby, brother -in-law Robert Woodcroft, sister-in-law Elaine (Tom) Schandl and mother-in-law Shirley Woodcroft.  He will be missed by his nieces Samantha (Martin) Martin-Dekold and Erin (Dan) Schandl-Versteeg, nephews Nathan Gunby, Chaz Gunby and Michael (Lisa) Schandl.  Proud uncle to many great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his good friends Ron and Darrell.  Dean was predeceased by his loving parents Shirley and Alex Martin and father-in-law Donald Woodcroft.

Dean was a truck driver for much of his career and enjoyed watching sports and other TV programs.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service.  Donations in Dean’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated.  Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock has been entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared here at wareingcremation.ca
