Dianne Wilson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Wilson (nee Pottelberg) of Delhi, Ontario at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday May 29, 2023 in her 82nd year.

She was born on September 30,1941 in Chatham, Ontario, the daughter of the late Leta and Bill Moore. Dianne was predeceased by her common law spouse, George Rogers.  Proud Mother to her four children, Donna Koncir (Dave), Dave (Annette) Wilson, Scott (Lisa) Wilson, and Charlie Wilson.

She enjoyed her grandchildren Alyssa (Neil) Thomas, Zachary (Victoria) Wilson, Andrew Wilson (Kelsey), Sam Wilson (Addison) and Mikaela Wilson (Brycen). Special great Grandma to Wray Thomas and Magdalen Wilson.

Step Grandmother to Kenneth (Sonja) Drake, Ryan Drake, and Racheal-lynn Drake (Shane) and step great Grandma to Hannah, Emily and Emmett. 

Sister to her twin Ruthanne Parrot, and to Eva (Murray) Oliver.  Special Aunt to many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Predeceased by her grandson Nicholas Koncir, son-in-law Charlie Koncir, sister Marie Reaume, brother Joe Pottelberg, and brother-in-law Jerry Parrot.

Dianne was a hard worker and was involved in tobacco farming for many years. She was a great cook and loved cooking and baking for the family and enjoyed her extensive cookbook collection. She especially enjoyed having family reunions, dinners, and fish frys for family and friends, and the times shared with her sisters and their families were special to her. Dianne volunteered for Senior Support Services, helping with Meals on Wheels.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., at the Lynedoch Cemetery.
