Don Voigt

Don Voigt of Grand Bend, and formerly of Mount Elgin

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Donald Henry Voigt on August 29, 2022, in his 75th year, with family by his side.

Loving, devoted husband and best friend of Donna Voigt (nee Barker).  Proud Father of Shelley Hansford and her husband Shawn of Mossley and Michael Voigt and his wife Marian of Thorndale. He cherished all five of his grandchildren, Chase Hansford (Angela), and Sidney Hansford, and Skyler, Maximus, and Victoria Voigt.   Don is survived by his siblings, Linda and John Simon, Sue and Paul Armour, Louis and Marilyn Voigt and sister-in-law Ruthann Voigt. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Larry Voigt.

Don will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting and reading but most of all his personal political views.

Family and Friends are welcome to come and Celebrate the life of Don on Saturday September 3, 2022,  from 1 to 4 p.m.,  at the Mount Elgin Community Centre, 333204 Plank Line, Mount Elgin, Ontario.
