Donald Watling

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Donald George Watling while surrounded by his loved ones.

Husband of Wendy Watling, Father to Kelly and Michelle Watling, and Rhonda Drake. Grandfather to Alicia and Tyler Drake, and Braedon Watling.  He will be missed by his brother Harold (Betty and family), and sister-in-law Heather (and family).  Don was predeceased by his father Roy, his mother Eleanor, and his youngest brother John. 

Don had a big passion for Mopar (Dodge), and he visited many car shows and races throughout his whole life.  He had a 1969 Plymouth Fury which he rebuilt himself.  He was also known for having the cleanest truck around - always a Red Dodge. 

Don worked at Kelsey Hayes for many years, where he retired from, and after retirement he took on working part time at a local cab company.  Even though he was a quiet, humble man he left a huge impression and fondness in the hearts of the people he met.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
