Donna Ruth Church

     It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Donna “Ruth” Church beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend to many near and far.

     Ruth was a devoted wife and best friend to her loving husband Albert Church for 26 years.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marcie (Marty), Bryan (Laura), Alex (Stephanie), and Devon.  She was a loving, supportive and thoughtful Nana to Jaden (Dave), Meghan (Tyler), Treiten, Bryson, Audrey and Evelyn.  Cherished by her great-grandchildren, Brexton, Daxson, Lennix and Nixyn.  Ruth was born in Tillsonburg to the late Gordon and Jean Stevenson.  She will be dearly missed by her loving brother Paul (Penny), sister Barbara, brother-in-law Kevin (Bonnie) and sister- in- law Shirley (Dave).  Predeceased by her brother Bill, and in-laws Harvey and Jean Church.  Ruth will be fondly remembered by many relatives from the Stevenson, Saelens and Church families whom she shared many memories with.

    Ruth worked in insurance for over 35 years in Tillsonburg before retiring at an age where she could enjoy life to the fullest.  Ruth and Albert spent their first 10 years travelling to Texas, Wilderness Lakes RV Park where they made life-long friendships.  She loved spending time with friends and family, playing games, golfing, line dancing, Zumba, walking, reading, or enjoying a nice cup of tea and good conversation. She was always one to laugh and enjoy life.  Although our hearts are broken, we will cherish all the precious times spent together as she is now at peace after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

    A private family Service will take place at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to South Coast Community (Caring for Cancer), Sick Kids or Camp Trillium (Waterford).
