Donna Maria Komorowski - Celebration of Life

 A time of remembrance and celebration of life will take place on Saturday November 23, 2024 at 11 a.m., at College Avenue United Church, 22 Wilson Street, Woodstock, Ontario, with a Reception to follow.       

      If you knew Donna, there is a great chance that at some point she made you laugh and made you food to eat.  Donna passed away at the age of 64, on Tuesday November 12, 2024 at Victoria Hospital in London Ontario. 

      She was born in Kitchener Ontario and was raised on her family farm near Stratford Ontario.  Donna grew up working on that farm until she moved to Kitchener Ontario.  Once she became a mother, she decided it was best to raise her daughter in Woodstock, Ontario as she felt it was a family-oriented place and a great area to raise a child.  Donna pursued different careers over the years but found purpose when working at Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) where she was a support to others and learned so much. 

      She was a mother, daughter, friend, neighbour, and church member.  She felt comfort in knowing she accepted the Lord into her heart and was at peace.  She was surrounded by the love of many people and they are forever in her heart.  Donna was preceded in death by her father Chester, mother Maria, and brothers Walter, Henry (Hank), and Richard.  She is survived by her daughter Sarah, and nephew David.  She will be very missed by her daughter, nephew, family, church family, and friends. 

      A time of remembrance and celebration of life will take place on Saturday November 23, 2024 at 11 a.m., at College Avenue United Church, 22 Wilson Street, Woodstock, Ontario, with a Reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donna made to College Avenue United Church, or the Canadian Mental Health Association are appreciated.
