Edmon Dale Peever

January 10, 1938 — June 9, 2026

Tillsonburg, Ontario

Born January 10th, 1938 in Powassan, Ontario.  It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Peever. On June 8, Dale suffered a sudden and massive stroke.  True to his character - loving, determined, and stubborn right to the very end - he fought courageously.  He passed away surrounded by his closest family members.

Anyone who knew Dale would agree that he was one of the kindest, most thoughtful, hardworking, and outgoing people you could ever hope to meet.  He was always the first to volunteer his time, lend a helping hand, or share his expertise, whether within the Hickory Hills community or among his many longtime friends and family members.  Dale was well known for his unique sense of humour and playful spirit.  Many were the unsuspecting targets of his good-natured pranks, which brought laughter and lasting memories to those around him.  A devoted family man, he also had a lifelong passion for golf.  While he never aspired to the PGA Tour, he treasured the time spent each week with his golf buddies, both at home and in Florida, where he and Pat enjoyed 26 years as snowbirds.  Dale was proudly Canadian and carried that pride with him wherever he went.  His warmth, kindness, generosity, and outgoing nature allowed him to make friends wherever life took him.  He touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dale will be forever missed by his beloved wife, Pat (née Yorke), with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage.  He was the loving father of Tracey (Joe Pavao) and Cindy (Leo Micciola), and the proud and cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Madelaine, Samantha, Elizabeth, and Victoria.  He is survived by his sister, Sharon Ray, and sisters-in-law, Gayle and Barb.  He was predeceased by his brothers Clinton and Lowell, his brother-in-law Mike, and sister-in-law Joyce.  Dale was also a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.  In accordance with Dale's wishes, there will be no funeral service.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date and those details will be added here once decisions are made.

Wareing Cremation Services, 161 Broadway St., Tillsonburg was entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared here at wareingcremation.ca
