Edward D. Main

     Edward Douglas Main, a cherished Husband, Father, Stepfather, Grandfather, and brother passed away early Sunday November 3, 2024, in his home, in his 81st year.  Edward was born November 16, 1943, the third son of Elnor and Archie Main. 

     Edward was known for his fantastic quick wit and sense of humour.  Loved and cherished by his wife Reta and known to always be supportive of his loved ones and all family members.  Ed loved nature, viewing Autumn leaves, lakes, and fishing in his boat.  Always a foodie through and through, visiting restaurants serving fried fish, Church’s chicken, and Harvey’s burgers.  His tough exterior could not mask the tender teddy bear within.  Ed had opened his heart shortly before his passing to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

     He will be missed by his wife Reta, son Brett Main, daughter Carrie Main, grandson Shade Main, stepdaughters Kelly, Erinn, Rachel, and Jeannie, and brother Allan Main.  Predeceased by his Mother Elnor and Father Archie, and his brothers Jack and Bob.  We are so thankful to have had Ed in our lives.

     The Funeral Service for Edward Main will be held on Friday November 15, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., at the Mount Pleasant Chapel which is located just inside the gates of Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Drive, London, Ontario  N6H 1G2
