Elenor (Elly) Irene Hanna

October 10, 1950 - January 22, 2021

We are sad to announce the passing of Elenor Irene Hanna, on Friday January 22, 2021, after surviving a stroke in 2017, and ultimately succumbing to Covid 19. 

Survived by her children, David (Carol) Rizzuto of Tillsonburg, and Sarabeth Rice of North Bay.  Proud Grandma to Darius, Garrett, Skylar and Sierra.  Predeceased by her parents Albert John Hanna and Mary Irene Hanna (nee Atkinson).  Survived by her siblings Joanne Hanna, Melody (Jim) Dalton, David Perrow, Patty (Jim) Hansen, and Debbie Yelle (Alec - predeceased).

Elly loved all animals especially her cats and dogs.  She enjoyed daytrips and was a self-proclaimed travelling gypsy.  Thank you to all of the staff at Maple Manor for the amazing care and support.  In honour of Elly’s wishes there will be no visitation and no funeral service.  Memorial donations to your local Humane Society or animal rescue would be appreciated.
