Ellie Albright

Ellie Albright passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday February 8, 2024, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. 

Survived by her daughter and best friend Shari, son-in-law Scott, and grandson Clinton Mudford.  

She was born to the late Jan and Jannetje Van Den Brink in Barneveld, Holland in 1950 and emigrated to Canada in 1954.  Ellie was employed by the Tillsonburg News for over 35 years.

Survived by sisters Marsha (John), Louise, Eva, Jane, Reta (Ernie), and Bertha.  Predeceased by husbands Larry Hoadley and Ernie Albright, daughter Angela, granddaughter Eliyah Jade, stepson Rob Hoadley, brothers John, Case and Gerald.   Also survived by sisters-in-law Margaret, Audrey, Linda, Eleanor and Carol, many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Special thanks for love, caring, and support from Shari, Scott and Clinton; to Dr. Howard Lamb for all of his home visits; Margaret for all her help; Jane for helping with all of the moves; Suzanne, my Nurse.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 9, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m., at North Broadway Baptist Church, 6 North Street East, Tillsonburg, Ontario.  

Memorial donations to Sakura House in Woodstock would be gratefully appreciated.
