Emma W. Verbeek

          Our Mom and Oma passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday March 8, 2026 at the age of 96 at Secord Trails Community in Ingersoll, Ontario.

          Beloved wife of Cornelius (predeceased 2015) for 62 years.  Dear mother of Janet (Bill) McKay, Dick (Carol) Verbeek, Marion Verbeek-Donaldson, EmmyLou (John predeceased 2025) Wassink, Neil (Arlene) Verbeek, and Yvonne (Ralph) Moesker.  Predeceased by her daughter Alice (2012).  Beloved Grandmother of Jaclyn (Gary), Stephanie (Shaun), David (Sijia), Kara (Thomas), Jason (Elyse), Whitney Anne (Jonathan), Shawn (Lauren), Lyndsay (Curtis), Mark (Vanessa), Jerusha (Dan), Jared (Meg), Joshua (Ashton), Nathan (Mady), Brad (Nicole), Kristy (Jeffrey), Dallas (Rebecca), Jesse (Shannon), and Shea (Nick).  Great Oma to 40 great grandchildren.  Survived by her loving sister Jenny Vanderveen (Bill) of St. Catharines.

          Mom spent countless hours cleaning houses, gardening, and raising her large family.  We love you dearly Mom and will miss you.

          Visitation will be at Grace Presbyterian Church, 15 Vansittart Avenue in Woodstock, Ontario on Saturday March 14, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with the celebration of life Service taking place at 1 p.m. in the church.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial donations may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church in support of on-going mission projects.

          Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Staff at Caressant Care Retirement Home in Woodstock and Secord Trails Community in Ingersoll, who provided truly outstanding care and service.
