Eric Wiederhoft

          Eric passed away peacefully in Woodstock Hospital, to be reunited with the love of his life Elaine (Coward, 2021).

          Eric is survived by his son Gary, sister Adelheid Martienssen of Berlin Germany, brother-in-law William Coward (Wendy), nieces Marina Martienssen, Michaela Martienssen, Rebecca Coward (Jason), Victoria Coward (Mark), Lisa Alexander (Jim) and grand nieces and nephews.  Lovingly remembered by Eric’s pseudo sister Lois Case (Ron).

          Eric was a longtime employee of Carmeuse (Domtar) in Beachville, retiring in January 1992.  Eric was well known for his sharp mind, strict adherence to routine and his keen sense of humour.

          With the help of family, supportive neighbour, friends, and PSWs, Eric was blessed to live a long independent life.  Special thanks to Alison Timleck whose help continues to be immeasurable.  Also, thanks to the doctors and staff of Woodstock Hospital who cared for Eric in his final days.
