Aggie Boden

After a full and beautiful life, Ethel Aggie Boden passed away from a life well lived.  The first to every gathering and the last to leave, she never wanted to miss a laugh.  Always up for an adventure, she emptied her tank with gratitude and had a smile on her face.  In her words “The world is a beautiful place”.

Seventy-two years ago, she married the love of her life, Jack.  They were proud founding members of the Oxford Rovers Camping Club and belonged to the Ontario Hiker and Camper Association for 50 years.  They accumulated countless lifelong friends during the many years of their adventures.
She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those fortunate to have her in their lives.  She did her best to love everyone. Loving Mother to sons Larry (Cathy) and Terry (Lisa).  Predeceased by her daughter Sharon (Terry).  Treasured Grandma of Cindy (Steve), Carrie (Jon), Christopher, Tyler (Danielle), Eric, and Jason (Taylor).  Cherished great grandma to Ryan, Sarah, Zach, Calen, Blair.  Aggie is predeceased by her parents William and Catherine Bender, and siblings Myrel, Dorothy, Ray, Grace, and Carl.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A gathering is planned for Saturday November 18, 2023, from 1 to 4 pm, at the Woodstock Royal Canadian Legion, 642 Dundas St., Woodstock, where family and friends will come together to honour and celebrate her beautiful life.
