Felix Werner

We are saddened to announce the passing of Felix Werner of Woodstock, Ontario on Tuesday February 6, 2024, at the age of 86.

He is survived by his loving wife Helga, of 64 years, and his three children, Heidi Kovacs of Stirling Ontario, David of St. Thomas, Ontario, and Marvin of Woodstock, Ontario.

Felix came to Canada in 1952, at the age of 15, along with his immediate family from Germany.  He eventually settled in the Woodstock area and was a long-time employee of the Woodstock Timberjack Machines company, employed for 31 years.  

Felix had a love for farming, raising animals, and working the ground, growing produce that he enjoyed being prepared as delightful dishes.  

He also was a fan of soccer, even playing with skill from youth up in various local leagues.  

Felix will be remembered fondly by many, for his love of music and dancing, his endless stories, and his tireless work ethic, but most of all, for the love of his family.

Felix will be remembered with a Memorial service on Saturday February 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1162 Nellis St, Woodstock, Ontario.
