Franklin Allan Pike

          It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Franklin Allan Pike on Sunday April 12, 2026 at home with his best friend by his side “Champ”.

          Allan was born in Norwich, Ontario November 20, 1949 where he was raised in Harley, Ontario on the family farm.  He never ventured too far, mainly stayed within the Oxford County area raising his family alongside his wife Janet for 46 years.  During retirement Al did spend a few years in Virginia Town near his brother Ivan however his roots were planted and he resided back to Woodstock.

          Predeceased by his wife Janet Pike (nee Hill), parents Ralph and Elva Pike, brothers Irvin Pike, Edwin Pike, and Ivan Pike, Father In-law Ron Hill, mother In-law Glenna Hill, sister in-law Sheila Simpson.  Survived by his brother Robin (Anita), sister Maida (Ken), his sons Kevin (Keri), Leigh (Melissa), and Jamie (Carol), his grandchildren Jordan, Nick, Madison, Braeden, Breanne, Lyla, and Carson, brothers – in - law Darwin Hill, Gary Hill, Jim Hill, and John (Joycel) Hill, and a lot of nieces and nephews.

          Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place.  As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations my be made to the Salvation Army or the Oxford County SPCA .   A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
