Franklyn John Trousdell

October 12, 1952 — January 30, 2024

Port Stanley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Frank’s passing, after a brief battle with cancer, at Sakura House Hospice in Woodstock, Ontario.

Frank leaves behind a son Daren (Kristine) and family, and several grandchildren.  He leaves behind five sisters and their families.  Left behind is dear friend Cheryl, her children and grandchildren.  Family, friends, and his best bud Charlie will miss him terribly.

Frank is predeceased by his father Fred, his mother Rita, and by his son Michael.

Frank was well known to the locals of Port Stanley who came to listen to him sing in various venues around the village.  I’m sure if he could, he would have liked to say goodbye to all who knew him and came out to hear him sing and play.

“Sing with the angels Frank, Your Voice Was Your Gift.”

Thank you to the Staff of CarePartners, Sakura House and the VON involved in Frank’s care.

Memorial donations to VON Sakura House would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers https://von.ca/en/donate-now-to-von-oxford-sakura-house  Or you may wish to donate to the planned hospice in St. Thomas Elgin County to be built on Edgeware Drive

In keeping with Frank’s wishes, cremation will take place, and a celebration of his life will take place at a future date.

Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock was entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared here at wareingcremation.ca
