Gary Cole

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary James Cole, son of Edna and the late Donald Cole.  He will be dearly missed by his brother Danny, sister-in-law Janet, and their family of Port Alberni, British Columbia.  He will be fondly remembered by his Uncle Art, Aunt Joyce, and his many cousins.  Gary was predeceased by his brothers Ricky (1975) and David (2015).

Gary was a quiet, honest and gentle man.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his daily walks.  Gary was also a keen fisherman with northern pickerel being a highly prized catch.  However, his greatest passion was music from which he derived great solace and enjoyment.  He particularly loved jazz and Jimi Hendrix.

Gary’s motto in life was to live, laugh, love and to always do the best you can.

Cremation has taken place, and a private interment will take place in the Spring of 2024.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the London Salvation Army are appreciated.
