Gary Grant

      With great sadness we share that Gary Mackenzie Grant of Norwich passed away in his 78th year, passed away at his home with his family by his side, on Tuesday September 17, 2024.

      Beloved husband of Lois Grant (Ryckman) for nearly 58 years.  Loved Father of Todd Grant (Shannon Hoffman), and Tammy Grant (Carlos Melendez).  Cherished Grandfather of Craig Grant (Lindsay), Shane Grant (Mary DiPeitro), Sky Grant, and Brett Sharpe (Sam Wray).  Great Grandfather of River Grant, Goldie Grant, Baby R. Grant (due November 2024) and Baby L. Grant (due December 2024).  Dear brother of Eleanor Grant (Burke), Donna Lou Eddy, and Lorraine Cromwell, and brother-in-law of Dorothy Keresturi and Sharon Ryckman.  Gary was predeceased by his parents Albert (Curly) and Gladys Grant, his siblings Johnny Grant, Cynthia Hanna, Gary Grant, and Gene Grant, sisters-in-law Jean Warboys and Shirley Vervaecke, and brother-in-law Jim Ryckman. 

      Gary was a true family man loving each member unconditionally.  He was a Harley Davidson motorcyclist enthusiast who loved the open road. You could always find him with a coffee, a smile and singing a song.  He had been a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #190, Norwich, Ontario. 

    A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 22, 2024, from 1 to 5 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #190, 55 Stover Street South, Norwich, Ontario. 

      Cremation has taken place.  Memorial donations to the Norwich Legion would be most appreciated by the Grant Family.  A private burial will be held, with immediate family attending, at a later date.
