Gaye Dorothy Dilks

          With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Gaye Dorothy Dilks, age 74, on January 30, 2026 at the Woodstock Hospital in Woodstock, Ontario.

          Gaye was a loving wife, devoted mother, and deeply cherished Nana whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.  She shared a life filled with love and partnership with her beloved husband Gary John Dilks, and took immense pride in her family.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children Kelli Jakab (Paul Petersen), Stacie Hinz (Daryl Hinz), and Kyle Dilks (Christie Dilks), and by her grandchildren Zachary Jakab, Sam Jakab, Matayah Hinz, Megan Dilks, Keegan Dilks, Kylee Dilks, Mason Dilks, and Malia Dilks, each of whom brought her great joy and happiness.

          Nana faced life with resilience and quiet strength, devoting herself wholeheartedly to those who surrounded her.  She was a steady presence in the lives of her family, offering support, love, and encouragement through every season.  Her strength lifted others, and her love left a lasting mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

          In keeping with Gaye’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service.  She will be remembered always in the hearts of those who loved her.
