It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Harley on April 25th, 2026 at the young age of 35.
Harley is survived by his mother Mary Sears (nee Spears), his father Doug Sears and step-mom Marion Waugh, his brother Dylan Sears, and his much loved cat Bush (who is now re-homed with Doug and Marion - we will take great care of her Harley). Harley will also be remembered by his extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins on both his mom’s side, his dad’s side and his step-mom’s side, and by all of his many friends and co-workers.
Harley was a lover of nature from a very young age, first walking with his dad and Dylan - then biking all the trails in Woodstock but especially Burgess Trail. Harley would stop and help the baby turtles get down to the river unharmed - sit and watch the beavers - or sit with his dad at Hopes Lookout with Hope (chocolate lab). If you went to Good Life Gym you were sure to see him working out!
Harley will stay in our hearts and minds until we take our last breath! Remember him as the strong, loving, caring young man he was.
We welcome all friends, co-workers and family for his Celebration of Life on Sunday June 14th, 2026, between the hours of 2 – 5 p.m., at the Unifor Local 636, 128 Beale St., Woodstock, Ontario. Please send no flowers as the Unifor Local is unable to accept on behalf of the Family.
