Harold Maloney

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Thomas Maloney.  

Born on April 23, 1940 in Toronto, to Maria (Serafino) and Harold Maloney, Harold passed away peacefully at the Sakura House Hospice in Woodstock, on Monday January 15, 2024, at the age of 83.  

Survived by his daughter Kelly Maloney, grandsons Noah (Cayla), and Aryson, his son Ryan Schnare, granddaughter Priscilla Steiner, brothers Tom (Diane), and David (Joann), along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his mother, father, brother Michael, sister Rosemary (Fallowfield) and brother-in-law Bud Fallowfield.   

Harold was a devoted and loving Father, Grandfather, brother, Uncle and friend.  He was a loving, caring and thankful man, who had a strong character, a sharp wit and a keen sense of humour….right to the very end.

We will miss our Dad and Grandpa and will carry his memory in our hearts.

Special thanks to the Staff at Sakura House Hospice for providing exceptional and amazing care of him during his final days.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to VON Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario.

Friends may join us at Harold’s Celebration of Life on Saturday February 3, 2024, beginning at 1 p.m., taking place at SunPark Hidden Valley Estates, in the Pavillon, 596101 Highway 59 N., Woodstock, Ontario.  Food donations are welcome.
