Howard Ronald Couse

          With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Ronald 'Joe' Couse on September 16, 2026, at Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario.  Known by many names to many people - Howard, Ron, Joe, Grandpa Tupperware, Gramps - he completed his journey on this earth and reunited with his beloved wife and best friend, Karen Couse.

          Devoted father of Kim Crocker, Jo Couse (Diana Plumpton), and Jason Couse (Janice Propper).  Proud Grandfather of six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  Cherished brother of Donna Chillcott, and Karen (Murray) Walters and brother-in-law of Dean Woolley (Bob MacMorran), Sharon Woolley, Heather Couse, Dick Foster, and Duncan Brown.  Predeceased by his wife Karen, parents Harry and Rietta (Hammond) Couse, his siblings George (Marie), Kay Foster, Stan, Bob (Gladys), and Sandra Kendell, son-in-law Don Crocker, grandson Tim Propper, and brothers-in-law Dale Woolley, and Bill Chilcott.

          Avid fisherman, handyman and carpenter, he spent his spare time doting on family by taking them out for dinner or ice cream, crafting and building them items, showing up with homemade lasagna and Anna Mae’s cherry cheesecake, and being a reliable cameraman throughout the years, documenting special times.  He spent countless hours organizing and packing Tupperware orders and could often be found chauffeuring Karen around accompanying her on her deliveries.  He was fond of travelling to new places with Karen by his side.

          Ron was generous, hardworking, caring, and exceptionally witty.  His smile would light up any room.  He will be greatly missed.
