Janet Roose

        Janet Roose of Tillsonburg passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday September 26, 2024, in her 81st year.

      Beloved and devoted Mother of Christine Roose (Brad Young), and Steve Roose (Yohanni).  Grandmother of Stadie.  Dear sister of Gary and Sue Bamford.  Cherished friend of Holly, Rosemary, Gloria, Irene, Peter and Emma.  Janet is survived by her nieces, nephews, and in-laws.  She was predeceased by her parents Joe (2003) and Cora (2015), and dear friend Carl Manary (2018).

     Janet’s early years had her actively involved on the family tobacco farm. She worked as a manager of Burger King and then continued her working days at Marwood, retiring in 2008.

     Special Thanks to Carepartners and TDMH for their compassion and care.  Cremation has taken place.  A private interment will be held in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.  Memorial donations made to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation are most appreciated.

      Janet’s Family would like friends and family to join in a Celebration of Life on Sunday October 27, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 153, 16 Durham Street, Tillsonburg, Ontario.
