With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jerry (Gerald) Turner, UEL (United Empire Loyalist), on Wednesday September 22, 2021 after struggling with health issues. Born June 11, 1941 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Survived and sorely missed by Suzanne, Kelly, Gary, Jason, Kiara, Kirstin, Cullen, David, Vera, Kyle, Logan, Hilary and Dennis, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Jerry was predeceased by his parents Alma and Edmund and younger brother, Jim.
A knowledgeable man with many interests, talents and a continued thirst to learn. Jerry was an educator, world traveler, military historian, genealogist, photographer, woodworker, archaeologist, and wildlife environmentalist with a logical mind.
Due to COVID 19, no formal services are being planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, or your local Legion. Donations may be made directly, or (by cheque) through Wareing Cremation Services, 346 Simcoe St., Tillsonburg, Ontario N4G 2J8 (519-409-5575) who have been entrusted with arrangements.
