Jim A. DeCap

          After a long battle with a history of several strokes Jim has passed away in his 73rd year, at Delhi Long Term Care, where he received the utmost of loving care.  They became his "second family". 

          Jim is survived by his sisters Sharon (Tony) Simoes, and Deb Sipes.  Uncle of Victoria (Caleb), Amanda (Ty), and Shari (Randy), and six great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Henry De Cap.

          Jim was involved in the Tillsonburg Fair Board poultry division.  He raised show pigeons since the age of 10, and later Jim judged pigeons at the Simcoe Fair and the Tillsonburg Fair.  He was proud of the fact that he grew up at Lierman's Store, established by his grandparents with his parents continuing the family business located in South Middleton, Ontario. 

          A private celebration is planned.  Cremation with interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Langton, Ontario.
