Joan Margaret Chamberlain

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt after a 10-month battle with cancer. Born on January 19,1943 in Hamilton Ontario. Joan passed away at home on August 24, 2021 at the age of 78 with her daughter and grandson by her side.

Joan is predeceased by her parents Harry Batten (1972) and Mary Batten (nee Johnston) (1980) and brother Harry (2020). Beloved wife of the late Bill Daly (1996). Dear mother of Erica Chamberlain (Adam). Cherished grandmother of Brandon, Chandra and Lucas (Nicole). Joan will be remembered by her nieces Nadine and Julie (Chris). 

Joan was a jack of all trades.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, home renovations, sewing, quilting, among many other things. She was always up for a challenge. 

Cremation has taken place and there will be a small graveside ceremony at a later date.
