Joann Goold

After a long and hard-fought battle Joann Louise Goold (nee Pizzey) passed away peacefully on April 7,2024 at Sakura House.  Born and raised in Brantford, Ontario, Joann was 79 years old.  

Dear Mother of Kendall Hunt (Greg) of London, and Greg Goold (Susan ‘Sam’) of Woodstock.  Grandmother of Jacob, Evan and Jayden.  Sister of Leonard Patterson (Gerry) of Mississauga, and sister-in-law of David Goold (Yolanda) of Brantford.   Remembered fondly by her three nieces, several cousins, and friends.   Predeceased by her husband Ted (Edward) in 2013, after 45 years of marriage and her parents Joseph George Pizzey and Louise Alice Pizzey (nee Ireland)

Joann was a Registered Nurse for 51 years. She had worked in many different long term care facilities throughout her career, the last of which was Chartwell Queen’s Square in Cambridge, Ontario.
