Johanna Knoop

Johanna “Anna, Annie” Knoop (nee Copier) of Beachville, Ontario. Born on September 20, 1937 in the Netherlands, Johanna passed away on Friday December 17, 2021, in her 85th year.
Johanna was predeceased by her husband, Jack (Jan. 2020), and her infant daughter (Oct. 1960). Johanna is survived by her children Nellie (Jim) Vandermeer of Beachville, Rita (Rob) Fieder of London, Jack (Kathy) Knoop of Woodstock; her grandchildren Joe (Melissa) Vandermeer, Josh (Aislinn) Vandermeer, Jeremy (Jess) Vandermeer, Matt (Laura Wimperis) Fieder, Laura (Alek) Niziolek, April White; her great grandchildren Emily, Autumn, Myelle, Blaire, Colton, Kylene, Laetham, Arabella, Audriana, Geneva and Adrian. She is survived by her brother Henk of the Netherlands, and her sisters-in-law Joanne Vanderlinden of London, Joanne Knoop of Woodstock, Gonny Schippers and Riet Copier of the Netherlands. She will be missed tremendously by her family and those she called her family, especially Ian, Gloria, Kim, and Mom and Dad’s coffee friend Ernie, who has shared coffee with them bi-weekly since 1978.
Predeceased by her parents Henricus and Maria Copier, her sisters Bets Van Vliet, Willie Marcellis, Sjaan Zaal, her brothers Theo, Arnold and Cor; by many brothers and sisters in law, and 4 nieces.
Johanna was a gentle soul who loved with her whole heart. She had the ability to give love to anyone who came into her home. Her love for her family was enormous and showed in her beautiful smile. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy, they lit up her life. We have so many beautiful memories to cherish. She was the sweetest lady with a heart of gold.

A huge “Thank You” to her PSW’s Kathy, Carolyn, Kim, Lynne, Kim and Cheyanne who helped her with her daily routine and took such excellent care of her. Thank you to the Care Partners Nursing Team who monitored her health weekly, and to Oxford Pro Resp who ensured her equipment ran properly. Special thanks to Oxford County Paramedics, the Doctors, Nurses, and all the Staff at Woodstock Hospital who cared for Mom with our recognition of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff in CCU at Woodstock Hospital for their excellent care of Mom.

There are no funeral arrangements at this time. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Woodstock Hospital CCU are appreciated by the Family. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Avenue, Woodstock, Ontario, and your messages of condolence may be shared at wareingcremation.ca
