John Le Breton passed away suddenly at his home on April 10, 2026.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dawn Le Breton, as well as his parents, and his brothers Paul and Guy. He is survived by his children Jocelyn LeBreton (Braeden), Melissa Ionson (Cory), and John LeBreton, as well as his four granddaughters and one grandson. John will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters out east, and will be especially missed by his brother Melvin and his wife Gwen, who held a special place in his life.
Although life presented its share of challenges for John, those who knew him will remember a man with a kind and friendly nature. He would often be found sharing a joke or a laugh, bringing humour to those around him in his own way. He had a gift for working with his hands, finding joy and purpose in woodworking and building. Many may remember the various projects he created over the years.
John will be cremated and his ashes sent home to Dalhousie, to be laid to rest with his mom and brothers. His family will remember him with a small, private get together.
