John Parsons

In loving memory of John E. Parsons. 

Born in Stephenville, Newfoundland on April 16, 1943, John passed away February 19, 2024 at Woodstock Hospital. 

John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn, his son John Jr., daughter Natalie, two granddaughters, and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike and Bob and his sister Margaret. 

Predeceased by his parents Ethel and Bernard Parsons, and by his in-laws Garfield and Elizabeth Harvey. 

John was the founding President of the Lions Club in Happy Valley, Labrador, and enjoyed working hand-in-hand with all charities. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and carpentry.

Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock was entrusted with Final Arrangements.
